Integration with back office systems

Once you are set you may wish to connect NLS™ with your own systems and you can do this using our web services API.

Implementation of the NLS™ is simple and fast.

You can completely control and manage your licensing from within your Dashboard.

Setup your products within the NLS™ using our simple and easy tutorial.

Choose your business rules and entitlements for your licenses.

Choose a platform to deploy to, generate the necessary licensing components with a single click and download a sample project to include within your application.

Once you have this done, you will have available a batch of license keys (numeric codes) that you can access and distribute via web services or a simple text file.

These are issued to end users at the point of purchase. Plus a component that you include with your installer that is called from your application.

This is all the basic setup you need to do.

Then you can decide if you wish to deploy your own license manager for your end users - this you can simply do by making calls to our API or for speed we provide you with an end user license utility called ControlActivation.exe that is run with your installer package.

This is available in several flavors where you can offer just Internet activation or, options to call/email/fax for a code or to activate later (all configurable by you).

Once you have setup within our Nalpeiron Licensing System you can manage all your licenses and customers within your Dashboard through a simple and clean interface.

Registering end user data

Enabling registration is as simple as a few clicks within the NLS™ - you can choose to force registration before activation or have it voluntary afterwards.

Within the end user utility we provide (controlactivation.exe) you can then simply collect end user data on the fly, these two parts are already connected within the sample code.

You can also create your own application to collect this data and have it posted to the NLS™.

The great thing about this option is that you can then track and report on the usage of your end users against their license codes and the end users themselves can login and see their own activity - I great feautre for the end user and lower support costs for you.

Use with an installer technology

NLS™ provides all you need to quickly and easily deploy usinf any installer technology, including Installshield. In addition, NLS™ is integrated within the Wise Installation Studio product line for your convenience.

Use with carts and e-commerce sites

The text file can be used with any script to issue an activation code to the end user by taking the codes direct from the text file and appending to the appropriate email, usually the order confirmation email.
